This is a lovely tale of a very wise girl who outfoxed the fox. The author even wrote a note about how she was inspired by her grandfather's storytelling, which I was always enthralled by this book when I would pick it up in my elementary school classroom. That said. The Savior Is Born.

    Wonderful illustrations augment thw clever book! Flossie didn't know what a fox was for she hadn't ever seen one but she went on about her task. The text, however. Both are at the McCutchin farm and the dogs have their sights on the fox.
