Marc W. Haut, PhD, ABPP, is a board-certified, clinical neuropsychologist who serves as professor in WVU’s Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry, Neurology, Neuroscience and Radiology. He is currently vice chair and eirector of Clinical Research and Education in the Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute. He joined the WVU faculty in 1989 as an assistant professor and has been an active clinician, educator, and researcher. In a previous role, he was chair of the Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry. An active researcher for 30 years, Dr. Haut is currently responsible for the oversight of all the clinical trials at the Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute. He has utilized neuroimaging (PET and MRI) to study aging and dementias, including Alzheimer’s disease. He has received federal and private funding for his studies and is currently editor for Aging, Neuropsychology, and Cognition.
Dr. Haut has over 65 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters and has mentored over 70 students in neuropsychology.
