Frank Zanow brings over twenty years of experience in applied neuroscience and the medical device industry to his work as an entrepreneur and innovator. He has established various companies within the neuromotion group (neuromotion.com), which he currently heads as CEO.
Zanow holds a Master’s degree in electrical engineering (1992, University of Ilmenau, Germany) and a PhD in applied physics (1997, University of Twente, Enschede, Netherlands). His research focused on advanced modeling techniques in bioelectromagnetism. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences (1996, Leipzig, Germany). He held various positions as EU researcher at the University of Ilmenau, Germany; University of Chieti, Italy; and University of Porto, Portugal.
He remains interested and actively involved in medical technology innovation, and has authored numerous publications in biomedical instrumentation, EEG, MEG, and TMS applications. Outside of work, Zanow enjoys time spent with family in Berlin and outdoor activities.
